A Message from the Principal

Dear Wainwright Families and Community,

Welcome to Wainwright Elementary School!

My name is Dr. Kimberly McNeil, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Wainwright Elementary. I am excited to partner with our students, families, staff, and community as we work together to create an exceptional educational experience for every child.

As I think about the upcoming year and the work ahead, my dreams for Wainwright are grounded in three words: Excellence. Opportunity. Joy.

I believe Excellence means providing every student with high-quality instruction and the support needed to reach their full potential. I believe Opportunity changes lives. Every child deserves access to experiences that help them discover new interests, develop their talents, and see possibilities beyond what they may have imagined for themselves. I also believe schools should be filled with Joy—places where students love to learn, families feel welcomed, and learning creates lasting memories.

Strong schools are built on strong relationships. That is why family and community engagement will be a major focus of my leadership. My hope is that Wainwright becomes a place where families feel valued, students feel inspired, and the community feels connected to our success.

In fact, one of my goals is for families to say, "There's always something happening at Wainwright!" I want our school to be a vibrant place where learning extends beyond the classroom and where students and families are excited to be involved in the life of the school.

The success of Wainwright will be built through partnership. I encourage every family to be engaged, stay connected, and take advantage of opportunities to participate in our school community. Throughout the year, there will be opportunities for us to connect, learn from one another, and celebrate the successes of our students together.
